Overview:

This is a PRN position.

Provide high level project, administrative, and organizational support to UFHealth Shands Medical Staff Administration Department. Must possess excellent communication skills. Position involves significant use of computer tools in detailed data analysis, reporting, and review. Ability to work independently, while demonstrating a team player attitude. Take initiative and be open to learning and assisting multiple Department members. Follow through and accuracy in assignments required. Monitor Department budgets and track expenses. Will communicate frequently with physicians and System Leadership. Maintaining confidentiality of information essential. Professional business attitude.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: High School graduate with three or more years high-level administrative experience. Associate degree and 1-2 years' experience may substitute. Some college and healthcare experience preferred. Intermediate skills in MS Office and Adobe. Relational database knowledge a big plus. Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position: Will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a 'non-frequent driver' NOTE: A frequent driver is defined as one who uses his/her personal or Shands automobile a) at least once daily, b) at least five individual trips per week or c) drives, on average, over 150 miles per week in the performance of his/her job. Licensure/Certification/Registration: None

This is a PRN Position.
