As a Lead Strategic Plans Analyst, you'll bring your strategic planning expertise to work alongside thought leaders in military strategy on projects.

Serving as a part of a high visibility team within the defense space, you will bring your expertise and knowledge of strategic planning and functions to this client space in order to develop cutting edge software solutions to some of the warfighters most difficult problems. We are looking for a contributor who will be happy to apply their knowledge of military strategy and planning to inform the development of key tools on behalf of the most senior members of the national security apparatus.

You Have:
  • 8+ years of experience in a joint staff with military-level operational planning, including developing and advising on matters regarding countering Great Power threats and planning in joint and multi-domain environments
  • Experience in a joint operational environment
  • Experience working with DoD systems and software
  • Knowledge of CCMD policy and strategy and structure of regional TCP/TCO, GCPs, CT EXORD, OPLANs, CONPLANs, and Theater Security Cooperation Plans, including linkages to parallel national interests
  • Knowledge of U.S. national plans and policy, including National Security Strategy (NSS), National Military Strategy (NMS), Unified Command Plan (UCP), Guidance for Employment of the Force (GEF), and Joint Strategic Campaign Plan (JSCP)
  • Knowledge of the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP) to include mission analysis, course of action development, analysis, comparison, recommendation, and approval
  • Knowledge of CCMD policy and organizational structure
  • Knowledge of the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) to include mission analysis, course of action development, analysis, comparison, recommendation, and approval as well as risk assessments
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with JADC2 systems, processes, applications, and requirements
  • Experience integrating digital engineering into prototyping, experimentation, and analysis efforts
  • Experience with major CJCS exercise design and support
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in technical roles designing or advising in the design of software solutions
  • Experience with Joint Staff Processes and Procedures
  • Knowledge of DoD software platforms and vendors in the space
  • Graduate of the School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS), School of Advanced Warfighting (SAW), School of Advanced Air and Space Studies (SAASS) , Maritime Advanced Warfighting School (MAWS), Basic Strategic Art Program (BSAP), or Advanced Strategic Art Program (ASAP) Experience
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,100.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
