Location: Pleasantville, New Jersey

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Property Accountant to join our team in the property management company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in property management.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee all accounting functions for assigned properties

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies

- Review and approve accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting for assigned properties

- Collaborate with property managers and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting

- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

- CPA certification preferred

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in property management

- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
