The Opportunity

The US Segment Sales and Marketing Advanced Analytics team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior ML Engineer with a strong focus on developing end-to-end data science solutions to accelerate and optimize sales efforts. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Data Scientists, BI Specialists, Sales and Marketing Leaders, and IT partners to complete AI and Advanced Analytics initiatives that will shape the future of our business. The team implements a wide range of traditional ML models as well as innovative LLM approaches. As an ML Engineer, you will lead the development and deployment of innovative approaches to optimize existing and new machine learning systems, unlocking their full potential to drive maximum business value.

Responsibilities
  • Deploy machine learning models and applications on cloud platforms like Azure ML or Databricks, ensuring seamless integration, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Solve business problems by deploying LLM/ Generative AI solutions by using RAG, Azure AI Search and other techniques.
  • Design and develop scalable and efficient data storage solutions using Azure technologies such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure Synapse.
  • Continuously monitor and improve the performance of machine learning models through data analysis and testing.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to plan, scope, implement, and sustain predictive analytics solutions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI technologies and methodologies, and evaluate their potential applications to improve our AI engineering processes.

What we are looking for
  • Bachelor's (and at least 3 years of experience working in AI/ Data Science) or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
  • Hands on experience with Azure cloud tools, such as Synapse, Azure ML, AI Search, Kubernetes
  • Strong background with Python and SQL, experience using both for data analysis and orchestration. Experience with Java or C++ as well is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in developing machine learning models using Python machine learning packages, Azure Databricks, and other Azure technologies
  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques, such as Tableau, Power BI and PowerApps
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools for machine learning model deployment
  • Experience working in Marketing or Sales related data domain, Insurance industry is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Salary & Benefits

The annual base salary for this role is listed below.

Primary Location
Boston, Massachusetts

Salary range is expected to be between
$102,200.00 USD - $189,800.00 USD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
