– Systematic, outcome-orientated, relative balanced, bespoke and building blocks We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Head of Provider Management to join our Business Management team. This role is located in London – HYBRID. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Inter-Affiliate provider management – support service owners throughout the Newton business to procure and manage services provided by BNY operational inter-affiliates and corporate staff services.

Will include assistance with:

SLD contract writing, navigation and compliance to the BNY Enterprise Sourcing Office (ESO) corporate policies and processes, service review and other oversight requirements. Ownership (as allocated) of key inter-affiliate outsourcing arrangements e.g., BNY India. Intra-Newton services – support the SLD contract documentation of services provided by the three Newton Legal entities to each other. Third-Party vendor management - support engagement managers throughout the Newton business to procure and manage services provided by external (to BNY ) third-parties including those services procured under the policy-defined ESO exclusion categories. Will include assistance with navigation of and compliance to the ESO corporate policies and processes including payment of invoices, provision of control over vendor-related costs and, for third party outsourcing arrangements, support with service review and other oversight requirements. Outsourcing Oversight Group – support the administration of the OOG Outsourcing oversight programme. Provide active participation in the group meetings and contribute to the decision making.

Provide Secretary support to the group including producing meeting packs and minutes and tracking issues to completion. The Head of Provider Management is also required to: Provide line management to team personnel as assigned including completion of the annual BNY performance appraisal process for all direct reports. Manage the oversight of any provider management team related task that is being performed by an external party (e.g., third party vendor or BNY inter-affiliate Service). Represent the provider management function in meetings (internal and external) when required and demonstrate effective relationships with other Newton and BNY areas. Ensure all Management Information and Compliance reporting (and adhoc reporting to any other business area) for the function is completed e.g., work volume statistics and trend analysis, reporting into appropriate oversight groups and executive committees.

Provide input into audit and control processes (internal and external auditors of Newton) on behalf of the team. Provide support to/deputise for the Head of Business Management as required, maintain a good working knowledge of all Business Management team responsibilities in order to provide support and cover to each team function*, and input to key business strategic projects and initiatives. *especially in the event of a live business disruption – the provider management team will be expected to contribute to supporting the Business Support team in the management of the Newton emergency response protocol To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Be a strong and effective leader able to instil a positive team culture that is in line with Newton Blueprint behaviours and which enables the team to offer consistently exceptional service standards to the Newton business. Will ensure all team members are motivated to recognise the importance of their roles in supporting the success of the business and that there is a clear and appropriate career development path for each team member, with on-going value-add and growth opportunities for all.

Will ensure the team has the capability to look ahead and ‘around corners’ to identify when business areas need additional support and to prevent or resolve issues. Build and leverage a network of BNY-wide contacts, building tactical relationships and SME level knowledge of provider-related BNY corporate policies.
