Senior Regional Sales Manager Essential Job Functions

Shows a sales hunter mentality - understands the need to build a sales pipeline and moves prospects through a defined sales process. Maintains meaningful relationships both internally and with external clients. Utilizes and maintains consistent and accurate data within our CRM. Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs. Conducts annual or quarterly reviews based on the needs of customers. Provides up-to-date sales forecasts. Will need to attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers. Follows industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales. Recommends marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic.

Senior Regional Sales Manager

Experience and Education

Bachelor's degree in marketing, Sales, Business, or related field OR 5 years of related experience in lieu of bachelor's degree. Experience developing leads without relying on "lists." Experience selling to manufacturers or selling logistics services is required. SaaS knowledge is preferred. Proven experience selling to C-Suite level clientele is preferred. Familiarity with marketing strategies and consumer psychology. Excellent sales and negotiation skills. Must be able to travel as needed.
