Your key tasks and responsibilities will be: Managing, supporting, guiding and mentoring the signaling team. Design of signaling interlocking system for any given track layout and any modification in existing Panel interlocking signaling system due to change in layout or augmentation of traffic facility or enhancing safety in the system. Design of relay based panel-interlocking system for any type of yard layout incorporating all safety, operational and logical features. Preparation and production of all signaling designs, specifications, reports and working drawings ensuring compliance with all contractual and statutory requirements within agreed timescales and budget. Design of Location/REB wiring New and Alteration design, Bonding Plan, Cable Schematic/Cable Core, Aspect sequence chart, Illuminated diagram/Panel, Location Area Plan, Scheme Plan. GETS MCS Design-MCS Data, Spad Alert Data, ITD Data, Stepping Block, OSTO. Assisting in the preparation of estimates and tender documentation. Review the work of less experienced engineers and CAD technicians in the team and maintain quality of deliverables to time and budget. Keep up to date with industry best practices and where appropriate apply best practices within the team environment. Propose best approaches to solve new problems encountered. Having IRSE Signaling verifiers License (1.1.160) is an additional advantage. Should have 10-15 years of experience in the design of major railway signaling projects including yard modifications and capacity enhancements. In-depth knowledge of railway signaling systems, technologies, and relevant industry/international/European standards. Working experience on European/UK mainline, high-speed, metro and LRT projects. German language professional working proficiency (Level B1/B2) is an added advantage. Understanding of multi-discipline railway design interfaces. Good communication skills and ability to present work effectively. Should be a good team member, self-motivated and coordinate with other team members and the project manager for timely delivery of projects. Good communication skills (English language skills in written and verbal) and the ability to work within a small team whilst having a dedicated approach to working within and meeting strict project deadlines.
