We are looking for outgoing and personable individuals who have a consultative sales technique and posses excellent follow up skills. We provide a salary plus commissions that compensates your sales efforts, in addition there are bonus opportunities. You will be working with a great team of sales specialists, managers and support staff while providing information and product details to our customers. You will build relationships with new and existing customers in order to drive business and increase revenue.

About the Job

The Appliance Sales Consultant's primary role is to consult with consumers to assess their needs and recommend the best solution from the industries best product offerings. This position is an integral part of giving every guest and caller a great customer experience with the goal of creating a customer for life. This position is for our Birmingham, AL. Showroom.

The perfect candidate is energetic, professional, enjoys learning new technology, personable, never meets a stranger, pays attention to detail and is good communicator. A love of cooking indoors, outdoors or both is helpful.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 Years ( or greater) floor type sales experience (or equivalent Home goods/Big Box retail experience)
  • Experience in luxury product sales ( jewelry, furniture, automobiles, etc...) is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, while being attentive to customers and flexible to the needs of the business
  • Available to work a variety of hours which includes Saturdays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent

As a full line appliance dealer serving various areas of the Southeast, AllSouth has grown to multiple locations and multiple distribution centers. While we specialize in supplying builders and remodelors in their appliances needs, we serve the public with Appliances, BBQ Grill and outdoor products of all price ranges.
