As an Employment Specialist at HopeLink, you'll play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health conditions, substance use disorders, or developmental disabilities in securing and maintaining meaningful employment.

What you'll do:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' vocational interests, skills, and abilities.
  • Develop individualized employment plans that match clients with suitable job opportunities within the community.
  • Provide on-site and off-site job coaching to ensure successful job placement and retention.
  • Deliver engaging psycho-educational courses to equip clients with job readiness skills.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, employers, and community providers to foster a supportive network.
What we're looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree in rehabilitation counseling, social work, or a related human services field
  • Minimum one year of experience working with adults or youth with mental health challenges, substance use disorders, autism spectrum disorder, or mild intellectual disabilities.
  • Strong clinical writing skills and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Estimated starting salary of $47,000 based on qualifications and experience.
  • Monday - Friday 9 am -5 pm
  • Medical/dental/vision insurance
