R&D Supplier Engineer

This company has been the leader in energy-control technology for over five decades. Locally in Indianapolis they design, manufacture, and test 3 separate business lines of products. These are hearing protection, Commercial Vehicle thermal and acoustical, as well as Aerospace Thermal and Acoustical.
They have pioneered the development of globally recognized solutionsfrom noise and vibration to thermal control. Whatever unwanted energy youre trying to manage, they have you covered with their award-winning quality, service, and state-of-the-art engineering.
This R&D Supplier Engineer will be in charge of working within their R&D team with the companys raw material suppliers and venders. This person will spend the majority of their time communicating with suppliers/venders tied to new materials they are purchasing. They will support material safety and regulations as well as make sure they have correct approvals and regulations in place for new chemical compounds. They would then submit the findings their national internal material management team.
Must Have:
1. Bachelors Science in Engineering Field, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Materials Science, or Chemistry
2. Internship - 3 years of experience within chemical or material science regulatory
3. Experience communicating with outside venders/suppliers tied to product/material/chemical
