A DAY IN THE LIFE
  • Thoroughly understands Accounts Payable (AP) processes, controls, and best practices and collaborates with other departments to help them understand how AP processes work.
  • Processes transactions within the JD Edwards AP module to ensure vendors are paid accurately and on-time.
  • Frequently communicates with vendors, Supply Chain, field jobsite management, and other departments to research and resolve issues related to vendor invoices and payments.
  • Provides guidance and training to other AP team members, and a variety of technical and support functions for the AP department.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management; or an equivalent combination of education and extensive, dedicated full-cycle accounts payable experience.
  • Minimum of three years of dedicated full-cycle accounts payable experience processing PO invoices using the three-way match process and processing management-approved and coded non-PO invoices.
  • Experience verifying accuracy of sales tax amounts on vendor invoices and processing invoices in a large ERP system (e.g., JD Edwards, Oracle, SAP, Lawson, etc.) is required.
