We are currently looking for a Sr. Master Schedulerfor our Liquids lines for our Allegan Facility.

The candidate must be teamwork oriented and have prior management experience and strong SAP or Production Planning System experience as well as a BS degree in Supply chain or similar

Manage Supply Chain Planning information, Systems and Employees responsible for Master Planning, Scheduling, and Operational support in PMI Operations.

Manages Supply Chain staff to achieve corporate goals, ensures sufficient procurement of raw materials, primary and secondary components, preprint, external bulk, and non-finished product, coordinates rework,.

Master plan production work centers according to their capability; monitor schedule attainment while controlling load factors and flow of work to maximize use of available capacity to meet customer needs, adjusting as needed. Provides guidance to senior management to assure optimum utilization of supply chain resources to meet customer needs, and provides communication regarding Value Stream interrupters and service issues to key stakeholders Provides input to EIS & TSOP processes, reviews Rough-Cut Plan, identifies and communicates constraints, works with Value Stream management on solutions, Manages inventory strategies and buffers to ensure service to the Supply Chain, and manages product flow/optimization strategies to ensure highest profit and service opportunities Ensures participation of project meetings and proper incorporation in Production Plan, including Stage-Gate, PEM, Contract, Conversions and Validation Project meetings. Periodically monitor “system” performance against value stream metrics and objectives, maintain scorecards or metrics, gathers and analyzes data, and participates in Value Stream Operations meetings. Has 1-4 Direct Reports and will work out of both Plant 4 as well as Allegan Distribution Center.

Manage the flow of product to most profitable and/or strategically important uses in cases of unplanned demand or supply. This requires balancing competing customer priorities with supply capabilities. Periodically review process and procedures to look for better ways to apply Lean Manufacturing principles and drive out whitespace and waste, and manage master data required to plan and execute the Supply Chain.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

:

Demonstrated strong leadership skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills.

Ability to establish strong working relationships with support departments and internal customers.

Ability to coordinate tasks between departments and external suppliers, and ability to lead by example.

Demonstrated proficiency in MRP and Supply Chain strategies, with strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.

Prior supervisory and project management experience preferred.

Ability to understand and lead Lean/Six Sigma concepts, Greenbelt preferred

• Required to obtain Lockout/Tagout certification

• Experience in meat industry preferred.

• People handling and communication skills

• High School diploma or GED preferred
