We are seeking a Director of Human Resources with prior experience in the skilled nursing/senior housing industry to join our team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred) in addition to, Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and/or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive Human Resources experience, 5 years in the Senior Care/Senior Housing industry, along with 3 years in a senior leadership role
  • Prior experience with at least 5 years in the skilled nursing/senior housing industry is mandatory
  • Strong understanding of Human Resources principles and best practices
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in Human Resource systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Remote, with ability to travel as needed. Reside in Iowa preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement Human Resources strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives of Campbell Street Senior Living.
  2. Oversee all aspects of Human Resources operations, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee relations.
  3. Collaborate with Campbell Street Senior Living’s Talent Acquisition Consultant to identify staffing needs and develop effective workforce planning strategies.
  4. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  5. Provide guidance and support to management and employees on Human Resources -related matters, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution.
  6. Lead the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work culture and enhance employee satisfaction.
  7. Manage compensation and benefits programs, including annual salary reviews, bonus plans, and employee benefits enrollment.
  8. Oversee the administration of the company's Human Resources system and ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting.
  9. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and competencies of employees at all levels of the organization.
  10. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in Human Resources management, particularly within the long-term care industry.
