Fund Accountant

We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Fund Accountant to join our team and support the accounting functions for our private credit funds. This is a great opportunity for a talented individual to gain valuable experience in the private credit industry.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and reconcile daily and monthly net asset value (NAV) calculations for private credit funds.
- Calculate and analyze management fees, performance fees, and other fund expenses.
- Monitor and track the fair value of private credit investments, ensuring adherence to valuation guidelines.
- Collaborate with the investment, portfolio management, and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Participate in the implementation and maintenance of efficient fund accounting processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably with a focus on private credit.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) as applied to private credit investments.
- Proficient in accounting software and familiar with portfolio management systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
