Eastridge Workforce Solutions is hiring an Accounting Analyst to join our client finance team in North Billerica, MA. Shift 8am-5pm. For immediate consideration, apply today.

Responsibilities:

  • This role is designed to support our accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, data analysis, and compliance with industry standards.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting within a manufacturing environment, combined with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports
  • Conduct cost analysis and support cost accounting activities
  • Perform variance analysis and provide insights on production costs and financial performance
  • Support month-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion
  • Aid in preparation and posting journal entries related to manufacturing operations
  • Assist with forecasting activities specific to the manufacturing plant
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors as needed
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
  • 2-5 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
