Summary:

Provide world class customer service with primary focus on the requirements of EAO's customers, distributors, and manufacturers' representatives, following established guidelines, policies, and procedures. Work in a fast-paced environment to help execute the marketing strategy by providing support to senior marketing staff with brand management and marketing initiatives. Main responsibilities will include administrative support of essential marketing duties, controlling day-to-day activities of the corporate identified customer relationship management tool (CRM), and the ownership of data handling to help meet and exceed business growth targets. Should be able to independently build expertise on EAOs products and services, while being accurate, detailed oriented, able to multi-task, and comfortable with technology.

Essential Duties:

  • Support the marketing team with planning, implementing, and monitoring of marketing campaigns.
  • Evaluate data and create reports on key metrics to monitor campaign efficiency and analyze trends.
  • Assist with the production of marketing materials and collateral.
  • Perform market and account research. Organize output and deliverables based on project initiatives.
  • Review, qualify, enter (CRM), and distribute prospective leads generated from marketing activities and prospecting efforts to the appropriate parties for processing.
  • Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.) for performance evaluation.
  • Aid with New Product Introductions (NPI), Product Information (PI), Product Change Notices, along with feedback gathering.
  • Assist with competitor analysis activities to evaluate market, product, and brand positioning.
  • Help organize and coordinate marketing events such as conferences, webinars, and trade shows.
  • Manage consignment samples, process, and placement for accurate reporting.
  • Provide administrative and project support for a variety of marketing programs.
  • Maintain data integrity (contacts, accounts, profiles, etc) within the CRM database to meet corporate standards:
  • Manage the accurate upload and input of projects, properties, and content;
  • Oversee data cleansing and other initiatives when required;
  • Work closely with the sales team to optimize processes and data handling for corporate reporting and KPI compliance.
  • Daily processing of CRM lead queue according to proscribed procedures, manage results, and distribute details accordingly.
  • Provide CRM aid and training to sales and support staff.
  • Implement processes, resolve issues, and interface with support as required.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to system performance and usage.
  • Manage Cases for tracking and oversight of issues related to products, services, customer interactions, or other concerns.

Job Requirements:

  • Understanding of basic business and marketing concepts.
  • High level of organization, time management skills, and attention to detail.
  • Comfort with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM/Salesforce) tools.
  • Strong knowledge of market research techniques and databases.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite, marketing software and online applications (CRM tools, marketing automation tools, SharePoint, Microsoft 360, etc...).
  • Familiarity with social media, social networking, email marketing and search engines.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Education and Experience:

  • 1-3 years experience in marketing or equivalent education.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred.

This position is based out of our Shelton, CT office.
