Liability Adjuster I

**Position.**

As an Entry-Level Claims Adjuster, youll manage a caseload of simple, low-complexity claims while building your skills as an auto claims adjuster. We expect Entry-Level Claims Adjusters to learn quickly and be on a "fast-track" to grow within the business. Our goal is to leverage technology, data, and a team of highly talented people to build a claims experience that is recognized as number 1 in the industry. **What you'll be doing.**

* Delivers and industry-leading claim experience for all policyholders and claimants by promptly answering customer calls and filing claims

* Leverage internal tools to research and resolve customer requests thoroughly and accurately

* Gather necessary information from customers to initial claim

* Initiates, investigates, evaluates, negotiates and finalizes claims resulting from simple auto accident losses

* Consistently makes prompt and courteous contact with every party involved in a claim

* Uses exemplary time management and organizational skills to manage pending claims and associates tasks proactively

* Coordinates the repair of damaged vehicles, and assists with rental reimbursement

* Provides input for continuous development of claims guidelines and best practices

* Recommends potential product developments and process improvements

* Interacts and communicates effectively with customers, peers, vendors, and managers

* Engages in learning opportunities to build knowledge of personal lines claims, court decisions impacting the claims functions, current guidelines in claims function, and policy changes and modifications

**What we're looking for.**

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

* Successful history of time management, multi-tasking, and customer-facing communication

* Ability to secure a Texas insurance license within 90 days of the start date

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Suite

* High sense of professionalism while remaining empathetic

* Curious in nature

* Willingness and ability to keep learning

* Great attention to detail with high organizational skills

* Ability to approach problems with an open mind

* Strong decision-making capabilities

* Ability to complete other duties as assigned
