Reporting directly to President Steve Stoute, the Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA) is the chief academic officer and provides strategic and operational leadership for all academic functions of the university. As the chief academic officer, the VPAA is responsible for oversight of all academic programs; works closely with, and serves as a senior advisor to, the President; collaborates with other executive officers, deans, directors, and Trustees; and interacts with faculty, staff, students, and community members to advance the institution.
