The Communications Manager develops and maintains internal and external communications resources for the company in order to keep clients informed of the latest developments and product offerings and to coordinate consistent and timely internal staff communications. The scope includes developing internal and external electronic communications and coordinating participation at industry conferences.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain internal and external public relations and communications materials-priorities and ongoing activities include monthly (or quarterly) client newsletters, monthly internal website refresh, regular updates for the Frontier LinkedIn site and other relevant social media planforms, and written external marketing materials for select product offerings Coordinate external website periodic refresh and new content development using internal resources Coordinate company participation in conferences - develop a plan, participate in organizing committees for major conferences, solicit internal speakers, and coordinate exhibit logistics Build a consistent Frontier Energy brand-establish a consistent internal and external brand identity, create standards, and develop and maintain templates with consistent branding for use with internal and external audiences Support communications/business development initiatives-take over coordination of GreenRope or other CRM, increase trade publication and other media placements; perform miscellaneous administrative tasks, such as document retention and organization, as needed Coordinate activities in support of building staff cohesion from remote locations - Meet My Project monthly webinars, new employee bios for the intranet home page, internal informal newsfeed postings

Required Skills

Very strong oral and written communications and public relations skills, particularly writing and editing Ability to analyze project and technical information, extract big picture/broader issues, and convert to laymen's terms Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously and motivate internal contributors Must be flexible, adaptive, and a team player with great interpersonal skills that delivers high-quality work Smart, motivated, engaged, enthusiastic, well-rounded, hard working Familiarity with graphics design and web design tools a plus

Required Experience

Communication or public relations degree (3-5 years of experience preferred) Experienced with Microsoft Office software - Word, PowerPoint, Excel Experience with a CRM preferred Experience in the energy efficiency industry or general awareness a plus
