Construction CoordinatorPosition and Responsibilities
As a Construction Coordinator with Middough, you will coordinate construction functions for the client’s construction/management project and interface with the client’s operations, engineering, architecture, contractor, security, and safety staff. This position requires being on-site at a client facility in southern Ohio for the project duration of approximately 12+ months. As a Construction Coordinator, you may also coordinate and/or supervise field activities including safety.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Coordinate on-site functions (construction trades, engineering support, material control, construction inspections).
  • Coordinate day-to-day construction site activities as required by the client.
  • Support the work of contractors onsite and endeavors to ensure that all construction is compliant with design specifications, completed on schedule, adheres to budget, and is built to quality standards.
  • Follow and adhere to all safety requirements for the Company, client, and local/State/Federal authorities.
  • Prepare daily construction reports per client directives.
  • Provide technical assistance, such as interpretation of drawings, as required.

Education, Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will possess the following:
  • Bachelors degree in technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • 0-10 years’ experience in site construction management.
  • Working knowledge of construction means, methods, and standards.
  • OSHA 10-hour safety certification.
  • General knowledge of construction contract, scheduling, and safety liability issues.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Analytical, negotiation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and be highly organized for effective project planning.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

  • Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.

  • Frequently use up-close vision, distance vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus.

  • This position requires the candidate/employee to possess and maintain a valid drivers license in their state of residence.
