Visual Basic Programmer and Machine Control Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain Visual Basic applications for machine control systems
  • Modify existing code to improve functionality and efficiency
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate software and hardware components
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues in machine control applications
  • Take on network administration tasks including system monitoring and maintenance
  • Support and train end-users on software applications and system functionalities
  • Document software designs, modifications, and troubleshooting steps
  • Stay current with industry trends and technologies to suggest improvements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in Visual Basic programming for machine control applications
  • Familiarity with motion control systems and automation processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and take on new responsibilities
  • Network administration experience or willingness to learn network administration tasks
