We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Salesforce Practice Director to lead our global Salesforce practice. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce products and services, along with proven leadership skills to drive business growth and deliver exceptional client value. As the Salesforce Practice Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Salesforce practice, including strategy development, team management, client engagement, and delivery excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Practice Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership for the Salesforce practice, including setting goals, defining success metrics, and driving overall practice growth.
  • Business Development: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Salesforce solutions. Identify new business opportunities, lead pre-sales efforts, and drive revenue growth through successful client engagements.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business objectives and aligning Salesforce solutions to meet their needs. Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
  • Team Management: Build and mentor a high-performing team of Salesforce consultants, architects, and developers. Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to help team members reach their full potential.
  • Practice Development: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies within the Salesforce ecosystem. Continuously enhance the capabilities of the Salesforce practice by fostering innovation, knowledge sharing, and skill development.
  • Collaboration: Foster a collaborative culture within the Salesforce practice and across other departments within the organization. Work closely with cross-functional teams to leverage expertise and resources effectively.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to best practices, quality standards, and project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize delivery processes and maximize client satisfaction.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Practice: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to promote practice offerings, increase brand awareness, and generate new business opportunities. Partner with sales, marketing, and alliance teams to create compelling messaging, collateral, and campaigns to target key market segments and drive demand for Salesforce solutions.

What you bring to be successful

  • Post-secondary education in a business or technology-related field
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in Salesforce consulting, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and growing a Salesforce practice within a consulting organization.
  • Broad experience across multiple Salesforce products (e.g. Sales, Service, Marketing, Einstein Analytics, Tableau, Commerce, MuleSoft etc) with depth of expertise in specific clouds.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans, drive business development initiatives, and achieve revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members at all levels.
  • Experience leading and collaborating with project teams members in fast-paced environments with tight timelines and budgets.
  • Ability to drive solutions and accelerators and develop go-to-market (GTM) strategies to promote practice offerings and expand market presence.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant, or any other consulting family of Certifications) are highly desirable.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, JIRA) is a plus.
