Security Analyst for a Healthcare client in the greater Detroit, MI area . This is a hybrid , full-time,

12-month contract

opportunity in Southfield, MI. The pay for this position isbetween $35/hr - $42/hr depending on level of experience.
Under direct supervision, performs system audits and other assigned tasks to ensure the safety of our client's information systems assets, and to protect those assets from intentional or inadvertent access, modification, or destruction. Assists in the analysis of information and data flows with our client and between our client and other organizations using SailPoint. Helps coach end users on the use of security tools, proper processes, and applicable compliance standards. May participate in the development of Information Services (IS) security standards and procedures.
WhatYoull Do:
Under direct supervision utilizes SailPoint, along with other processes and applications, assisting in real-time auditing of systems configurations and both internal and external interfaces, to detect and investigate potential privacy and/or security hazards and threats to our client's system assets
May participate in coaching of end-users on preventative processes and policies to ensure asset security
Learning to exercise a tactful but positive influence on staff at all levels
Maintains a log of activities and provides status reports to leadership
Participates with project teams to understand and execute the scope of a project, creates and maintains work plans, and provides the appropriate project-related status reports
Look for opportunities to learn from more experienced Security Analysts
What Youll Need:
Associate's Degree/Technical school or equivalent (required)
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent(preferred)
A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in a security/identity analyst role
Background demonstrative of the highest level of personal and professional integrity in handling sensitive and confidential information
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Information Security, auditing, scripting, and role-based access
