About the role

·      We are looking for a full-time Data Architect / Engineer who can design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure data platforms and pipelines for our clients.

·      You will work closely with our data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that meet or exceed their expectations.

·      You will interface with our clients to comprehend their needs and develop strategies that will ensure they achieve their business objectives.

·      You will be responsible for the entire data lifecycle, from data ingestion, integration, transformation, storage, to data quality, security, and access.

·      You will use the latest technologies and best practices to ensure the performance, availability, and scalability of our data solutions for all clients across various market segments.


Responsibilities

·      Design and implement data architectures and models that support the business requirements and objectives of our clients.

·      Comprehend and incorporate customer access patterns and business needs into architecture designs that ensure scalability and flexibility.

·      Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows that ingest, process, and deliver data from various sources and formats.

·      Optimize and tune data platforms and pipelines for performance, reliability, cost, and efficiency.

·      Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across data sources and destinations.

·      Implement data security and privacy policies and standards to protect sensitive and confidential data.

·      Provide data access and support to data analysts, data scientists, and business users.

·      Document and communicate data architectures, pipelines, and processes to relevant stakeholders.

·      Research and evaluate new data technologies and trends to improve our data solutions and capabilities.


Qualifications

·      Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

·      At least 7 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or a similar role.

·      Proficient in SQL and one or more programming languages, such as Python, or Java.

·      Experience with unified analytics platforms like Databricks, or Azure Fabric.

·      Experience with data integration and ETL tools, such as Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, or Google Cloud Dataflow.

·      Experience with data processing and analytics frameworks, such as Apache Spark.

·      Experience with storage frameworks like Delta Lake and Lakehouse architecture.

·      Experience with data visualization and reporting tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.

·      Knowledge of data quality, data governance, and data security principles and practices.

·      Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

·      Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
