Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Incident Manager to join our Telecommunication RAN NOC team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing incidents related to the Radio Access Network, ensuring timely resolution, and minimizing impact on network performance. The Incident Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes, implement preventive measures, and improve overall network reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Incident Management:

Receive, assess, and prioritize incidents related to the Radio Access Network.

Initiate and lead incident resolution processes, ensuring adherence to defined SLAs.

Coordinate with technical teams to resolve incidents promptly and effectively.

Root Cause Analysis:

Conduct thorough root cause analysis for major incidents and recurring issues.

Collaborate with relevant teams to implement corrective and preventive measures.

Communication and Reporting:

Provide timely and clear communication to stakeholders, including management and customers, regarding incident status and resolution.

Generate incident reports, detailing the impact, resolution, and recommendations for improvement.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify areas for process improvement within incident management and drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Work closely with other teams to implement best practices and lessons learned.

Documentation:

Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, resolutions, and preventive measures.

Update and enhance incident management procedures and documentation as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience in incident management within a Telecommunication RAN environment.

Strong understanding of Radio Access Network components and protocols.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

ITIL certification or relevant incident management certifications preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 8 years of experience in incident management in a Telecommunication RAN NOC environment.
