Rewinder I, II, III at Symbiotic Services

Symbiotic Services, a staffing powerhouse, is on the lookout for diligent and detail-oriented Rewinders (Levels I, II, and III) to join our team on behalf of a respected client. This role plays a crucial part in the finishing department, ensuring labels are rewound according to precise customer specifications, prepped, and ready for shipment. What You'd Be Doing:
  • Reading job jackets and work instructions carefully before initiating the rewinding process.
  • Setting up and operating rewind machines accurately to meet specific customer orders.
  • Inspecting rolls for quality, removing defects, and ensuring the final product meets strict customer specifications.
  • Maintaining organization and separation of orders based on various criteria.
  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment to uphold operational efficiency and safety standards.
  • Adapting to various duties within the department, ensuring a collaborative and efficient work environment.
You're Probably a Match If You Have:
  • A High School Diploma or GED, with one to three years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Basic PC skills, solid math skills, and the ability to read and comprehend detailed documents.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow through with instructions precisely.
  • A proactive mindset, ready to jump in across functions to drive success.
  • The physical capability to meet the demands of a manufacturing environment, including standing for extended periods and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
