Job Opportunity: Rewinder I, II, III

Symbiotic Services is seeking diligent and detail-oriented Rewinders (Levels I, II, and III) to join our team at a respected client site. This role plays a crucial part in the finishing department, ensuring labels are rewound according to precise customer specifications, prepped, and ready for shipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and comprehend job jackets and work instructions to initiate the rewinding process accurately.
  • Set up and operate rewind machines to meet specific customer orders, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Inspect rolls for quality, remove defects, and ensure the final product meets strict customer specifications.
  • Maintain organization and separation of orders based on various criteria, ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Clean and maintain equipment to uphold operational efficiency and safety standards.
  • Adapt to various duties within the department, ensuring a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Requirements:
  • A High School Diploma or GED, with one to three years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Basic PC skills, solid math skills, and the ability to read and comprehend detailed documents.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow through with instructions precisely.
  • A proactive mindset, ready to jump in across functions to drive success.
  • The physical capability to meet the demands of a manufacturing environment, including standing for extended periods and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
