Job Description (Full Time, Remote) A Staff Accountant, Transaction Processing is responsible for recording day to day financial transactions in the general ledger and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of those records. Requirements Two (2) or more years of experience in Accounting/Finance Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field from an accredited university Strong understanding of general accounting knowledge and principles Strong computer skills Preferred Google Suite Oracle CPA About The Opportunity General Ledger Management: Record financial transactions in the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records. Integration Accuracy: Assist with reconciling daily integration accuracy by utilizing suspense accounts. Month End Close: Assist the Senior Accountants during the close processes; monthly, quarterly and year end. Communication and Collaboration: Collaborating with other departments, such as Corporate Accounting, other SBO finance teams, and operations, to ensure that financial records and transactions are accurately recorded and reported. Process Improvement: Assist in assessing current processes and identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
