As an Area Credit and Financial Manager, you will supervise the credit and collection policies and activities within the assigned territory.

In this role you will:

  • Implement, monitor, evaluate, and report on Company-established credit and collection policies as described in the Financial Manual
  • Perform monthly reviews with Financial Managers including but not limited to: customer aging and Treasurer Reports, credit extension and exposure, job account management, year-old items, and additional reports as necessary
  • Train and mentor Financial Managers and Management Trainees
  • Interact with key customers, as indicated either through actual or potential sales activity, or as directed by Director Finance or District Vice President
  • Provide backup to Director of Finance (during absences or as workload dictates)
  • Support district initiatives through personal interaction with customers, suppliers, employees, and district and branch management
What you bring to the table:
  • 10+ years Financial Manager or related experience required
  • 4 year degree in Business, Management, or related field of study required; Masters of Business Administration from an accredited institution preferred
  • Supervisory experience with progressive responsibility in a financial management role
  • Knowledge of financial statement analysis techniques and accounting principles
  • Knowledge of construction law
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Mathematical and analytical skills
  • Ability to effectively interact with others
  • Ability to relocate
  • Travel required
Pay Details:
  • The expected salary for this position is starting at $95,000 annually depending on experience.
  • This position is also bonus eligible, based on specific and relevant business metrics.
