In this position you will play a key role in the companys Estimating and Purchasing functions and assist in organizing and awarding supplier contracts. Additionally, you will work with subcontractors and suppliers on purchasing materials and maintaining accurate contracts and budgets.

DUTIES INCLUDE

  • Prepare material take-offs, evaluate bids, and create construction budgets
  • Identify new vendors in the market
  • Interact with architect/engineering regarding plan changes impacting take-offs
  • Negotiate bids with trade contractors
  • Maintain all Trade Contractor Agreements, Scopes of Work, of Insurance Certificates

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years residential estimating experience
  • 3-5 years residential take off experience
  • Ability to read construction drawings
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to learn and use computer software
