Nurse Practitioner Skilled Nursing Facility (Permanent Role) Location: El Paso, Texas Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time Overview A reputable Skilled Nursing Facility in El Paso, TX is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their team in a full-time, permanent capacity. This role is ideal for an NP who is passionate about geriatric care and skilled nursing environments, and who thrives in a collaborative, patient-centered setting. Key Responsibilities Provide primary and acute care to SNF residents Perform daily rounds, assessments, and follow-up visits Diagnose and manage chronic and acute conditions Develop and monitor individualized care plans Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, therapists, and family members Order and interpret diagnostics, labs, and imaging Ensure accurate documentation in the EMR Participate in quality initiatives and interdisciplinary meetings Schedule Full-time, permanent role Monday Friday (hours determined by facility) No call or weekends required (if facility confirms) Requirements Active Texas Nurse Practitioner license Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities or Post-Acute Care required (minimum 1 2 years) Strong understanding of geriatric care and chronic disease management Ability to work independently with physician support as needed Current BLS/ACLS Strong communication and teamwork skills Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary (based on experience) Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, PTO, etc.) CME allowance (if offered by facility) Supportive leadership team and stable patient census Why This Role Stable, long-term opportunity Meaningful work serving an underserved population Collaborative, family-oriented work culture Opportunity for growth within the post-acute care environment
