Nurse Manager (NM) - Medical Surgical (Med/Surg)CTTX Health is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Manager to join our Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) department. As the Nurse Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in our Med/Surg unit.At CTTX Health, we are committed to providing exceptional healthcare services, and our Med/Surg unit is an integral part of our mission. As the Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of nurses, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and implementing quality improvement initiatives.We are looking for a strong leader with a solid background in medical surgical nursing and management. If you have a passion for providing excellent patient care, a proven track record of effective leadership, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, we invite you to join our team as the Nurse Manager for Medical Surgical at CTTX Health.RequirementsJob Responsibilities:+ Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) department.+ Ensure optimal patient care by maintaining high standards of nursing practice, monitoring patient outcomes, and implementing quality improvement initiatives.+ Supervise and evaluate the performance of Med/Surg staff, including nurses and support staff.+ Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and promote interdisciplinary communication and teamwork.+ Participate in budget planning and resource allocation for the Med/Surg department.+ Provide guidance and support to staff in clinical decision-making and problem-solving.+ Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.Job Requirements:+ Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.+ Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in medical surgical nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.+ Current BLS certification.+ Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.+ Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.+ Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.+ Knowledge of current trends and best practices in medical surgical nursing and healthcare management.BenefitsAmazing benefits starting day one
