Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Antepartum department.
  • Ensure the provision of high-quality care to expectant mothers and their unborn babies.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of Antepartum staff, including nurses and support staff.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and promote interdisciplinary communication and teamwork.
  • Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  • Participate in budget planning and resource allocation for the Antepartum department.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff in clinical decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in antepartum nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in antepartum nursing and healthcare management.
