We have recently moved operations into a newly renovated 300,000 sq. foot facility that will foster our continued growth as we continue to be recognized as the undisputed leaders in our industry. As a result of our expansion, we are looking for a Manufacturing Project Engineer to join our growing team. This is an entry level position for someone looking to experience many areas within a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: (what you will be doing) Provide direct support to Operations and Facilities projects as required. Shared time between Engineering, Facilities and Operations department projects. Provide exceptional customer service and on-time delivery. Lead and participate in numerous concurrent projects across the organization. Support of day-to-day production and technical issues related to the production of engineered to order (ETO) products. Creation of standard operating procedures (SOP) capturing current production processes while implementing safety, ergonomic, and production rate improvements. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: (what it takes to be successful) Ability to become intimately familiar with manufacturing processes. Interested in working primarily in a fast paced, production environment. Able to work on multiple projects with changing priorities. Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Work equally well alone or in a cross functional team with other Engineers, Safety, Quality Control, Purchasing, etc. Interested in projects across all areas of manufacturing and its environment. Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or a related field of study is preferred. Reports to Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
