MANUFACTURING ACCOUNTANT Empirical Systems Aerospace, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Accountant to join our finance department. ESAero is a growing aerospace company in the San Luis Obispo area and provides various services which include but are not limited to: rapid system development, on-demand niche engineering, hands-on development/testing, and small UAS aerospace system manufacturing. **This position is fully on-site at Empirical System's Aerospace in San Luis Obispo, CAEssential Duties and Responsibilities: Proposal ReviewInventory adjustments and transfers and billingInvoicing capitalized laborCost accounting to include manufacturing costing and job costingMonthly journal entriesReconciliations of item fulfilments/inventory/end of project material transfersLiaise with operations and project management functions for accurate tracking of inventory and assist with periodic physical inventory counts. Ensure accurate reporting of inventory balances on the general ledger and the trial balanceSupport PM's/PA's/Project AccountantLogistics supportProject Set-upsRequired Qualifications and Skills:2+ Years Accounting Experience in Manufacturing EnvironmentExperience with ERPBS in Accounting or Finance preferredProficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skillsExtreme attention to detailUnderstanding of business accounting principles as well as basic auditing principles in relation to inventory balancesUnderstanding of basic contracting principles (government and commercial)Familiarity with DCAA compliance a plusStandard Benefits: Health: Health/Dental/VisionPTORetirement: 401kCasual dress code, Free snacksAmazing location to live, work, and playESAero is an equal opportunity employer.
