Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to, the following:Determine work procedures, machine tools, equipment, and attachments to be used for assigned workStrong analytical and mathematical skills.Strong attention to detailUse of precision measuring instruments and equipment such as Vernier calipers, height gauges, inside, outside, and depth micrometers, parallels, gage blocks, dial indicators, and surface gages to attain accurate dimensions and maintain tolerancesSet up/operate machines, including but not limited to lathes, vertical turret lathes, horizontal boring mills, and Bridgeport knee mills.Ability to read and understand prints. Knowledge of concentricity, parallelism, surface finish, and tolerances in both imperial and metric unitsWorking in shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levelsMust be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protectionAbility to maintain focus and multitask effectivelyExcellent communication skillsRequirementsQualificationsMachining: 1-3 years (Preferred)US work authorization (Required)High school or equivalent (Preferred)
