Job Description
MUFG Fund Services (US) Inc. is a growing company of 500 employees and is seeking a Director, Talent Development & Management, to work in a hybrid environment (in office several days a week) with frequent travel to New York, Texas and Maryland. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-growing organization. This role will provide comprehensive guidance, advice and support to managers and staff on HR matters including training, recruitment & selection, learning & development, performance management, disciplinary & grievance issues and ad-hoc project work.
Core Responsibilities:
Manage Talent Management Function:
HR professional to manage the end-to-end cycle andexecution of onboarding, performance management, succession planning, talent review, employee learning development & training programs, in accordance with policies and procedures as well as compliance with employment standards, federal, state, and local requirements. Create, design and administer various training and educational programs (one-on-one, group, class setting or virtual).
Handle Employee Engagement:
point of contact for employee relations, promotion of employee engagement, coaching/mentoring, retention and recognition, with a focus on career pathing, diversity and inclusion.
Project Management and Governance Reporting:
Support various HR initiatives, including rollout of CUSO HR initiatives and projects, implementation of processes and system updates. Handle reporting of HR activities to various committees such as Executive Management Committee and the Human Capital Risk Control Committee (HCRCC).
Help Manage Policies, Procedures and Manuals:
review, develop and update policies, procedures, manuals etc., ensuring compliance with internal requirements, laws and regulations, application of industry standards and best practices. Collaborate with the team to enhance HR workflows and processes.
Support Talent Acquisition & Staffing Functions:
support Talent Acquisition with talent solutions, recruitment activities, and retention. Will include responsibility for developing and supporting a college internship program and relationship building with target schools.
Other Managerial Duties : provide support and participate in various audits (internal/external), annual Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), execute Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) requirements, and perform other duties as deemed required by the manager.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a 4-year college or university (HR Management, Business, Finance or a related curriculum).
5+ years of direct HR experience, and must have knowledge of employment laws and regulations, and HR best practices, with HR Generalist experience.
Project management and people management experience required.
Must be proficient in MS-Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and HRIS (e.g., Sage, Leap, Outlook)
Familiarity with learning management systems, learning libraries and training software tools required
Experience within a financial services organization is an advantage
Superior attention to detail and excellent administration skills
Excellent written, verbal, presentation and communication skills
Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work on own initiative
Integrity and confidentiality
Candidates will be required to attend an onsite interview.
The typical base pay range for this role is between $120K - $150K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
