Primary Purpose: To develop and manage project assignments through completion, communicate results, make recommendations to management, and provide training.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Identify required resources; research project data, procedures, and history to ensure a thorough understanding of project direction.
  • Generate and analyze statistical data reports.
  • Develop, prepare, and manage project plans through completion.
  • Communicate activity progress to involved parties.
  • Resolve client-related issues as needed.
  • Transition programs to management personnel.
  • Participate in oral presentations.
  • Develop and provide training to management and colleagues as needed.

Additional Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Support the organization's quality programs.
  • Travel as required.

Qualifications:

Education and Licensing:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, or Quantitative Analysis from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Courses in Computer Sciences preferred.

Experience:

  • Seven (7) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required, including three (3) years in project management, office operations management, managed care, insurance-related fields, and/or statistical analysis.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Thorough knowledge of related field procedures, insurance-related procedures, and/or managed care systems and operations.
  • Strong knowledge of project management and statistical analysis.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Leadership, management, and motivational skills.
  • Strong analytical and interpretive skills.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet or exceed performance competencies.

Work Environment:

  • Mental: Ability to think clearly and conceptually; exercise excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and discretion; manage work-related stress; handle multiple priorities; and meet deadlines.
  • Physical: Computer keyboarding and travel as required.
  • Auditory/Visual: Hearing, vision, and talking.
