The Internal Audit will oversee all aspects of financial audit for the global logistics firm and will be a key member in gathering and presenting data to internal stakeholders. The Internal Audit will be a key member of the audit team, and will work on a project basis identifying key trends and areas of improvement across the business. This role will report in to the Reading, PA area - but will only need to be on-site 2 days a week.

Client Details

Our client is a large, multi-national logistics/supply chain firm with a presence in multiple continents. The global logistics firm has experienced significant growth over the past 2 years, and looks to continue to grow over the next few years as well. Our client services large organizations globally, and are strategically located in the Reading, PA area. The global logistics firm does offer transparent growth, and ability to take on a manager role and develop in that sense as well.

Description

  • Lead audits and apply technical audit knowledge to financial projects using all accounting principles

  • Lead team of staff auditors

  • Review and analyze year end financial statements

  • Perform risk/fraud analysis

  • Be a leader in evaluating audit, and sharing findings/results with key stakeholders

  • Utilize technology/systems tools to complete necessary projects and provide clarity and understanding to areas of question

  • Develop and lead your assigned team during audit/financial projects

  • Leads and/or participates in other strategic financial projects

Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years experience in Accounting/Audit role
  • Experience with business tax preparation
  • Experience within a public accounting firm
  • CPA preferred
