RCC, or the Regional Crisis Center, is a PRTS/subacute residential facility where youth are placed directly from the Department of Human Services. RCC provides residential living facilities, mental health treatment, family counseling, substance use disorders treatment, and academic instruction and education on-site. RCC clients often display acute behaviors and have multiple mental or behavioral challenges. RCC uses verbal de-escalation tactics as well as treatments such as seclusion rooms and full-body restraints when necessary to ensure the safety of our clients.You must be a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, licensed to provide services in Oregon to be qualified for this role. A Bachelor's in nursing is preferred but an Associate's will be accepted. It is preferred if you have experience in an adolescent residential treatment setting or experience as a psychiatric nurse.
