The Front Desk Associate will greet and direct members, guests and staff as they enter the gym. This position will provide assistance to members along with inquiries about gym operations and policies, as well as perform various administrative duties.

This detail-oriented individual will possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both staff and members. Basic understanding of accounting principles, cash processing procedures and computer skills required.

Current CPR Certification is required.

Skills Required

High school diploma and some college course completion required. College degree, either Associate or Bachelor’s preferred.

Excellent sales, communication and customer service skills.

Must be able to successfully pass all testing requirements including gym tours, telephone inquiry, guest card audit.

Ability to achieve acceptable level of pro shop sales for the month.

Thorough understanding of Gold’s Gym’s membership sales systems.

Demonstrated understanding of all front desk functions.

Basic computer skills.

Current CPR Certification
