This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday (closed on weekends and some holidays), starting shift is typically 9:30 am to 6 pm.

Pay Range: $21 to $25 per hour, depending on experience

**Overview:**

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our audiology office team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient service while ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk and administrative functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to the overall success of our practice.

**Duties:**

- Welcome patients, answer phone calls, and respond to emails in a professional and courteous manner.

- Coordinate patient appointments, ensuring timely and efficient scheduling.

- Utilize CounselEar electronic health records (EHRs) to manage patient data and appointments.

- Maintain HIPAA compliance while handling confidential patient information.

- Provide medical administrative support, including data entry and filing.

- Greet patients and visitors at the front desk, directing them to the appropriate areas.

- Manage patient inquiries, concerns, and feedback, addressing issues promptly and professionally.

- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients.

- Stay current with medical terminology and updates in the field.

- Collaborate with the medical team to resolve patient issues and improve patient care.

**Requirements:**

- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a medical field or related field preferred.

- Strong understanding of patient service and medical administrative support principles.

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced medical office environment with a focus on patient satisfaction.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.

- Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all interactions with patients and staff.
