Position: Senior QA Engineer
Location Preference: Hybrid – Barcelona, ES
We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team of professionals and help us take our product to the next level. You will develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality and improve the Aternity Mobile offering for the entire stack (Android/iOS /Mac/Linux, RestFul API, server). This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a growing team and strategic product.
What you will do:
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Design, execute automation scripts and analyze results.
Identify, investigate, document thoroughly and track bugs.
Perform thorough regression testing and decide what steps are needed to increase confidence.
Coordinate with DevOps team for continuous integration.
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing features to meet client needs.
Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Work as part of a team and closely with other colleagues (development, product).
Improve your skills, learn from, and mentor top-notch engineers and enrich other team members.
Create an effective fruitful and fun working environment.
What makes you an ideal candidate:
Significant experience in a QA Engineer role, ideally working with endpoint agents (this is not an entry level role).
Experience developing Automated test scripts.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools and processes.
Proven experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases - a Must.
Proven experience translating use cases and technical specifications into test cases.
Proven experience conducting manual testing.
Knowledge of performance and load testing.
Hands-on experience with automation testing tools – an advantage.
Hands-on experience with Android's instrumentation test and iOS UITests – an advantage.
A big plus would be expertise in one or several of the following platform internals: Android, iOS, MacOS, Linux.
Experience with security testing – an advantage.
Strong analytical skills with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Can-do attitude, passionate proactive, internal drive for excellence and improvement.
Fluent English.
Independent and self-learner.
Great interpersonal and communication skills.
