Respond to customer solicitations and provide to the manufacturing and production control departments all necessary documentation and information needed to efficiently complete the requirements of a customer contract. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Review and respond to request for quotes to improve overall quality, productivity and understanding of customer requirements. Create routers for tools and cost-effective routing through the shop, identifying ways for expediting product where possible. Provide technical assistance to supervision and

machinists/fabricators

with questions pertaining to the manufacturing process. Identify fixturing and special tooling needs as required. DESIRABLE

KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION High school diploma or GED required. Advanced level of experience in an engineering role that builds a product via CNC machines or through highly advanced fabrication. Preference is given for this experience in a defense or aerospace industry. DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE/SKILL Exceptional problem solving, troubleshooting skills, attention to detail and accuracy required. Excellent communication skills with ability to work with people at levels of the organizational. Working knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading is required. RELATIONSHIPS: Demonstrates a highly cooperative demeanor with other employees and willingly takes the initiative to help others succeed. Develop effective relationships with employees of all departments. Willing to share knowledge with those individuals who are responsible for producing parts that conform to the customer’s requirements.
