Remote role with office time for training/peak periods for candidates who are not local. Scope This is a newly created role for the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. We are looking for a Finance Analyst who will support the finance organization by managing day-to-day operational and strategic projects and analysis. The FP&A Senior Financial Analyst will play a vital role in the department's transformation initiative to enhance insightful reporting to Executive Leadership and streamline the budgeting, forecasting and long-range strategic planning processes. The FP&A Senior Financial Analyst will provide timely and accurate analysis and support for the FP&A team. In this role, you will analyze the information for the business and provide advice on how to improve the financial health of the company. The FP&A Senior Financial Analyst will perform a variety of financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, building financial models, assisting with financial planning, performing research and analysis, and preparing reports. Responsibilities Actively lead routine monthly management reporting responsibilities Support financial modeling and budgeting to help team understand drivers of business and how it is tracking against key initiatives Support forecasting process by gathering and compiling various data sets, analyzing trends, analyzing variances and current performance metrics, and partnering with department leadership to obtain key assumptions Help identify potential sources of leakage from initiatives (e.g., pricing) to ensure capture of savings Support the evaluation of payback from projects that require capital and prioritization of project pipeline Contribute to building an FP&A function that proactively identifies business trends and risks to budget; use historical information to inform decisions about the future Demonstrate flexibility and agility to support analysis for current business with ability to scale to accommodate expected business growth Partner with the organization to execute the annual budgeting process, provide monthly rolling forecasts, analysis of KPI data, and participate in the strategic planning process Build, document, and deploy scalable processes and systems that ensure repeatable, high-quality execution Listen closely and ask questions to ensure complete understanding of any issue or question-at-hand to provide the most concise and accurate reporting/analysis General technical knowledge of budgeting, cash management, and financial analysis processes. Able to work with managers throughout the company in analyzing financial situations. Qualifications Experience with financial modeling Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel a must Prepare presentations and executive reports for Senior Management and Board of Directors Experience building sophisticated financial models from scratch, in Excel, MS Power BI or in other planning/BI applications (e.g. Tableau, MS Power BI, Host Analytics) Experience writing SQL queries and an understanding of data warehouse structures is a plus Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and continuous process improvement mindset Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and across departments Assertive, action-oriented hands-on, "roll up your sleeves"-type approach Energetic, strong work ethic, resilient, collaborative, ability to juggle multiple projects at once and personally committed to achieving success Nice to have: Experience with implementation and management of Accounting and Finance systems, such as NetSuite Great communication skills, well organized, strong project management skills, ability to multitask and be a team player Strong cross-functional collaboration skills Innate desire to continuously explore, learn, and exercise intellectual curiosity #J-18808-Ljbffr
