You can be our next success storyThis role is perfect for an individual who approaches their work professionally, loves to be a part of a team, and wants to help us get better every day.If that sounds like you, come join this industry leaderHere's What You'll Get To DoThe Manufacturing Engineer responsibilities will include the development and implementation of manufacturing engineering and production system best practices across the Plant including but not limited to:Move organization towards a common systems and processes philosophy within plants and across plantsCreate and maintain process flow diagrams, PFMEA's, control plans and Work InstructionsTime studies and line balancingTool/Machine and process set-up, verification, and troubleshootingMaterial flow and layout best practicesResponsible for the implementation of corrective actions and proactive quality and efficiency improvement processesLead the development (or selection) of processing best practices based on rigorous data analysis and the implementation of such processes across the organization ensuring processes are effective and efficientSupport the execution of new product launches, equipment installations, and other major initiatives while meeting all safety, environment, people development, quality, responsiveness, cost, and revenue targetsCoordinate and collaborate with other departments and peers within the organization in establishing best in class manufacturing engineering practices and manufacturing systemsMonitor production, rejection, scrap, cleanliness, safety, and proper working conditions for operatorsEnsure produced parts meet standards set by the Quality DepartmentPromote Customers-centric approach and enforce all Safety and Environmental proceduresHere's What We're Looking For1+ year experience as a Manufacturing EngineerBachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field is required.Ability to operate various tools, equipment's & machineryComputer literacy in MS Windows, and MS OfficeAn uncompromising safety-first approach in the workplace.At OBE we have each other's back Physical Demands:Work performed inside a non-climate controlled production environment.Ability to stand on your feet for 8-10 hours per day on a concrete floor.Noise levels in the work environment can be moderate to high.The plant facility is subject to the same climate conditions of the region (heat, cold, humidity, etc.)Working Environment:Exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, heat/humidity and loud noise in an industrial environment.**reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the job**What OBE Offers YouCompetitive payPaid time off10 Holidays (inclusive of 2 floating holidays)Market competitive 401(k) matchIndustry-leading medical, dental, and vision benefitsShort-term and long-term disability coverageLife InsuranceAbout OBEAt OBE, we believe the work of our employees truly matters.
