** SIGN ON BONUS AND RETENTION BONUS **We are looking for a talented Welders/Fabricators with advanced welding and fabrication skills to join our ADC Team. We are a small, family run business who prides itself on our culture in providing a safe and creative working environment for our Employee Team Members and listening to their ideas to improve upon our design, manufacturing, and customer focused processes for our customer's rollover protective structures.$20-25/HOUR - based on applicant's skill level.Shift Hours/Premium:First Shift hours are Monday-Thursday, 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM.Second Shift hours are Monday - Thursday, 4:00 P.M. to 2:30 A.M. (Includes $2.00 Shift Premium)Additional overtime as neededGeneral Responsibilities:Proficient in GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) on mild steelProficient in blueprint reading and weld symbols to comply with standardsLay out, align, fit and weld fabricated steel components to assemble structural formsAccurately measure weld sizes with proper gaugesRecord production times use to ensure accuracy of labor tracking, production controlPerform routine inspection and preventative maintenance on weld machinesSelect and set up weld equipmentCommunicate between supervisors, quality management, engineering and production floor to solve any fit-up problems, print errors, and/or inconsistenciesFollow detailed instructions, working in a timely fashion to comply with allotted time and ship datesAbility to respond quickly to priority changes and work well under pressure due to scheduling constraints and perform quality work in a safe and efficient mannerQualifications:Must have 5 years of GMAW welding and fabrication experienceMust pass AWS D1.1 qualification test and written weld test to be considered for employmentSkilled in technique for finish grinding/polishingMust be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measureEmployee must be able to regularly stand and walk for extended periods of timeEmployee is required to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basisEmployee must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and occasionally sit, climb or balanceEmployee will be required to do repetitive hand eye workEducation and Experience:High school diploma or GED requiredWelding Degree preferredMust pass AWS D1.1 qualification testWork (4) Ten Hour Days per WeekSecond Shift $2.00 Per Hour Shift PremiumAir Conditioned Production Plant$150 Allocation for Miller Infinity Weld Helmet$125.00 Safety Shoe reimbursement$125.00 Prescription Safety Glasses reimbursement9 Paid HolidaysEducation Reimbursement ProgramSalary Description $22-27/hour
