Job Description

The Associate Biomedical Technician is responsible for installation, electrical safety inspections, periodic maintenance, performance testing and major and minor repairs of medical equipment in assigned areas of the hospital, as well as external/retail clients. The Associate Biomedical Technician operates sophisticated test equipment and instrumentation for inspections, performance tests, and periodic maintenance/repairs of medical equipment. The testing data acquired from said testing is analyzed and may be prepared for reports.

Required Qualifications:
  • upon request: If position requires driving, a valid driver's license and proof of insurance per company policy will be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree Biomedical Equipment Technology. Or
  • Coursework/Training Electronics Technology, Military or Technical Training.
  • 1 year Experience in repair of biomedical equipment or equivalent field.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
