Description

include the following (but not limited to). Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects candidates to fill vacant positions. Work with outside vendors to acquire and maintain welfare benefit plans. Investigates employee complaints/concerns; uses the advice of legal counsel when necessary; and advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues. Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs. Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization. Administers salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within organization. Conducts wage and salary surveys within labor market to determine competitive compensation. Represents organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations. Leads efforts in developing and implementing employee training through work with managers, supervisors and employees. Works with Sr. Management staff on employee development activities including succession planning, leadership development, career development, and other employee development processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with five to ten years related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
