An extra $.75 per hour upon completion of Team Leader result blocks. Plus an additional $2.00/hr shift premiumHours: 9:00pm - 5:30am, Sunday - Thursday (Overtime as production demands) Material Handler Responsibilities: Consistently handle "great tasting" sausage products according to specifications (see Result Blocks) Develop a strong set of world class skills in the area of shipping Utilize your organizational and communication skills through documentation of incoming receivables, product movement and providing proper storage. Have an impact on customer success by productively assembling customer orders and keeping order pickers supplied with necessary product. Actively participate in daily meetings and project teams Set goals and objectives; both personal and as a team member to acquire "superlative" performance in order to support The Johnsonville WayAssistant Team Leader Responsibilities: Effectively lead shipping in the areas of safety, quality and performance Evaluate and coordinate training needs and efforts of team members required for the current processes and integrate quality and safety training standards Evaluate staffing needs of shipping and maintain budgeted resources to maximize output Coach and guide team members in need of development and lead the disciplinary process by determining what, if any, discipline is needed Daily scheduling and effective resource allocation Monitor the performance of team members, providing feedback and documenting results through performance appraisals Effectively manage member relations with the team and co-workers Effectively conduct team meetings Complete daily performance reports and shift paperwork Effectively communicate information to members Lead process improvement initiatives on the line Monitor progress of team in 4 critical success areas (safety, quality, cost and service) Develop and execute improvement plans in all four critical success areas Be able to create and promote a team environment, manage conflict, and resolve current issues Be a role model to all members Effectively manage all aspects of safety; address issues with safety immediately, and be a safety championExperience: Prior experience in leadership/supervisionSkills and Competencies: Ability to take ownership of own and other Members' safety Experience working in a shipping/warehouse environment Experienced forklift operation Demonstrated communication and listening skills and ability Ability to drive members development and help them utilize their God given talents Demonstrated ability to problem solve effectively and efficiently Strong interpersonal skills Ability to lead by example and also involve others in the decision making process (team player) Ability to manage multiple tasks and be flexible by adjusting priorities Act as a "change agent" Ability to innovate Meet customers' needs and expectations Mirror The Johnsonville Way and coach to it Set high expectations for yourself and your team membersOther: Ability to pass a pre-employment, post offer drug screen, physical and background checkDate: May 24, 2024Location: Countryside - Sheboygan Falls, WIMember Status: Full Time, Hourly ManufacturingPositions Available: 1Benefits: Members have potential for a monthly bonus, 401k with a company match and profit sharing.
